Desert Casino

The casino emerges from the desert landscape as a dynamic interplay of topographical grids. These grids, originating from the natural terrain, manipulate and distort the building's form. The resulting structure is a fragmented and expressive entity, with arched doorways extending beyond the building envelope to create new spatial boundaries within the desert. The casino's layered and overlapping roofs, penetrated by the grid, generate a complex and illusory interior space. This interior accommodates a fluid and open gaming floor, enabling visitors to move freely between gaming tables and slot machines. The structural frame, influenced by the directionality of the grid, behaves as a living organism, connecting the casino to the hotel and generating additional interstitial spaces within the gaming floor. The hotel's form is further disrupted by the emergence of the chapel and entertainment spaces, which rise from the ground and elevate portions of the building. This programmatic collision creates a new vehicular and pedestrian access point. The remaining architectural elements of the hotel continue to expand and evolve, resulting in a hybrid structure that appears to be in a perpetual state of becoming. This unfinished and indeterminate form challenges traditional architectural conventions and invites speculation about the building's future
